Privacy Policy

The short version: our apps access the minimum data needed to do their job, never access your customers' personal information, share nothing with anyone, and delete everything when you uninstall.

This policy covers apps published by HH Online Ventures on the Shopify App Store, currently Stock Scout. It describes what data our apps access, why, and what happens to it.

What we access, and why

Stock Scout reads, via Shopify's Admin API with read-only permissions:

• Products and inventory levels — to know what you stock and how much is on hand.
• Order line items (product, quantity, and order date only) — to calculate how fast each product sells, which powers automatic low-stock thresholds.

We do not access, store, or process any customer personal information: no names, no email addresses, no phone numbers, no shipping or billing addresses. Order data is read as anonymous line items only.

What we store

• A per-store cache of the latest stock assessment (product titles, inventory counts, computed sales velocity), overwritten on each refresh.
• Your app settings (the digest email address you provide, alert buffer preference).
• Anonymous app-usage events for the store (install date, feature usage, subscription status) used to operate and improve the app.

Retention and deletion

• Cached assessments are replaced on every refresh — nothing accumulates.
• When you uninstall, Shopify sends us a deletion request (shop/redact) and we delete all data associated with your store: sessions, caches, settings, and events.
• Because we hold no customer personal data, customer data requests (customers/data_request) and redaction requests (customers/redact) are acknowledged automatically — there is nothing to export or delete.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone. No third-party analytics or advertising services run inside our apps. Data lives on our application infrastructure (hosted in the United States) protected by TLS in transit and encryption at rest.

Billing

All charges are handled by Shopify's billing system. We never see or store payment details.
